Empower Next Project was founded in 2025 in response to a growing and urgent need: safe, supportive housing for individuals transitioning out of treatment. For many people in early recovery, changing their life means leaving behind their environment, their routine, and often their entire support system. Treatment provides structure and safety, but it does not provide income—and when someone completes a program, the question becomes: Where do they go next?
Across communities, there is a clear gap in the continuum of care. Not all post-treatment housing options are affordable, and not all offer the supportive, recovery-focused environment that individuals need to continue building a stable life. Empower Next Project was created to help fill this gap with compassion, dignity, and action.
We provide financial assistance for sober living, ensuring that individuals have access to safe, stable housing during one of the most vulnerable points in their recovery journey. Because when people are given a safe place to live, they are given the chance to rebuild—one day, one step at a time.
But we aren’t stopping here. While housing is one critical area of need, we know there is more work to be done. Empower Next Project is committed to addressing the broader issues connected to recovery and community wellness. That means expanding overdose-prevention education, increasing access to life-saving resources, and providing youth with the knowledge and tools to make healthy choices long before they ever face crisis.
