Welcome to Empower Next Project (EIN 39-3580172). By using our website, making a donation, or using the Sober Living Companion app (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About us

Empower Next Project is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower individuals, inform communities, and act to support healthier futures.

2. Donations

Donations are processed securely through Stripe. Empower Next Project is tax-exempt, and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You can verify our status through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at info@empowernextproject.org.

3. Programs & eligibility

Participation in programs such as Empower Next Steps is subject to eligibility review and available resources. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award. We administer programs fairly and welcome applicants of every background.

4. Sober Living Companion app

The App is provided to support residents and operators of sober-living homes. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the App lawfully, and not to misuse safety features (such as the SOS alert). Operators are responsible for setting rent and managing residents within their home. Use of the App is also governed by our App Privacy & HIPAA Notice.

• Do not use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Services.
• Respect the privacy and dignity of other users.

7. Intellectual property

The content, branding, and software of the Services are owned by Empower Next Project or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Third-party links & services

The Services link to and rely on third parties (for example, Stripe, CashApp, Zelle, Zoom, and partner organizations such as Roseville Recovery Center). We are not responsible for third-party services, which are governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Empower Next Project is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
